As it own name shouts out, Dazed and Confused got it, at least to me. That was the feeling I had when I found out the magazine's July issue cover. Does it have a meaning? Does it mean Dazed and Confused is becoming too "regular"? or on the other hand, is it that Beyoncé has reach such a point where she is consider queen of everything (even one of the most well-known independent British publication)? Question Mark.

I've been checking AW11 shows. There's something that I really like that I repeatedly found in few catwalks: Shapeless Mermaids. Long-shapeless dresses and skirts combined with massive jumpers and outwear. What I found the most appealing? there's no a right color! From shiny gold to the darkness of black, from ocean green to the purest white. I know it's still May, but I will definitely wear something like this next AW...if not earlier!

Monday morning. It couldn´t start in any other way but analizing the Golden Globe's red carpet dresses. After checking several international online publications, a specific mood stands out for me: simplicity in bright colors is a winner. As a common denominator: straight lines, rounded necks and sober use of jewellery. Neutral make-ups and natural hair-dos. A new demonstration of "less is more". Sobirety and simplicity become a quadratic equation. Achieving the result is not as easy as it might look but it's verifiable and measurable.

Después de revisar varias publicaciones internacionales, una atmósfera común destaca: simplicidad en colores llamativos. Como denominador común: lineas rectas, cuellos a la caja y uso moderado de joyas. Maquillajes en colores neutros y peinados naturales. Una nueva demostración de que "menos es más". Today's been my first day as a citizen of Madrid and I used the chance to introduce myself to the city and to say bye to Testino and his exhibition in The Thyssen Museum in the capital, Todo o Nada, as January the 9th is its closure date.

I hope this fab farewell is just the begining of an exciting new experience in Spain.

Hoy ha sido mi primer como ciudadana Madrileña y he utilizado la oportunidad para pasear por la ciudad y además, decir adiós a Testino y su exposición en el Museo Thyssen de la capital, Todo o Nada, pues hoy día 9 de Enero ha sido su última apertura.

I found the concept very interesting, the inpiration very clever and the collection itself simply brilliant. Have a look at the website and take your time to click in every possible tab. Unmissable!

PS: appart from all the great points I've just mentioned, please, keep on mind the strong effect created for the campaign. Love (LOVE, LOVE!!!) the contrast between the blurred and faded images and the strength created on the model's face through her eyes and eyebrows.

Un nuevo capítulo en la serie "Keep an eye on...". Esta vez es la colaboración entre las dos marcas españolas, Escorpion y El Delgado Buil, la que ha llamado mi atención. El concepto me parece muy interesante, la inspiración muy inteligente y la collección simplemente brillante. Echa un vistazo a la web y tómate tu tiempo para visitar todas las pestañas. PD: además de todos los puntos que he mencionado, analiza el fuerte efecto creado para la campaña. Me encanta (ENCANTA!!!) el contraste entre la fotografía borrosa y de color apagado y la fuerza que emana la modelo a través de sus ojos y sus cejas.

GQ Magazine and H&M joint strengths in order to promote the men's range OI10 collection in an event held yesterday in the Regent Street flagship store in London. The party was very interesting, not only for the cocktails and Djs (that helped to make the party more enjoyable, honestly), but because guests (male and female) who wore the main trends of the season in tiny details or whole outfits. La revista GQ y H&M han unido sus fuerzas para promocionar la colección de hombre OI10 en un evento celebrado ayer en la flagship store de la marca sueca en Regent St, Londres. La fiesta fue de lo más interesante. She is the Lady...the Bearded Lady

Few months ago I was invited by the designer Krizia Robustella to participate in two very interesting projects with her. The first of them was styling her new SS2011 catalogue for the collection " Beautiful Beach" and the other one was creating a look for KR Store Mannequin. Well, as her SS10 collection was inspired in the kermesses. Those portable fairs I took that as a starting point and chose the old ones (in the 20s and 30s)where the "freaks" where the stars of the spetacle. The Bearded Lady was the one who brought all the inspiration and this is my tribute to her with Krizia´s pieces. (It was a shame I wasn´t able to find any flourescente green net stocking around Barcelona!).

Hace alguanos meses la diseñadora Krizia Robustella me invitó a participar en dos proyectos bastante interesantes. El primero fue trabajar con ella en los estilísmos para el catálogo de su próxima colección de PV2011 "Beautiful Beach", y el otro fue crear un look para el maniquí de KR Store. Bien, su colección de PV2010 está inspirado en las kermesses. Tomé como punto de partida estas ferias ambulantes y elegí aquellas en de los 20´s y los 30´s las que los "freaks" eran la atracción principal. La Mujer Barbuda me sirvió de inspiración y este es mi tributo con las prendas de Krizia. (Una pena que no pudiera encontrar medias de liguero de rejilla verdes fluerescentes por toda Barcelona!).

I know...I know...while half of the planet is getting tan under the sun, here in UK the rain and the no-so-good weather are back with us (but hope not to stay for long). These clouds and lower temperature have made feel a bit autumnal, and although I checked this collection while ago I just felt too summery to go for them yet. Here I leave you one of my favourite yuxtaposition (love when the extremes work so perfectly well together!!): chunky knittwear + delicate classic patent leather bows from the queen MIUCCIA.

This is The Dixie, the new SC Vizcarra´s handbag for next AW10.

This cutie-cute is a hand-woven leather structured bag, but the most interesting detail is those skulls that give the final edgy touch. That skull is actually the designer´s own!! She had a skull fracture and after seeing the radiography she decided THAT was going to be the brand´s identity from then on. Nice!

Esta monada esta hecha de cuero trenzado a mano, pero el detalle más llamativo son las calaveras que le aportan el toque edgy. Esta calavera es una estampación de la de la propia diseñadora!! Tras una fractura craneoencefálica y después de observar la radiografía, decicidió que ESO se convertiría en la identidad de la marca desde ese momento. Genial!

Last night was one of those nights when you expect fun but that much! FlyBar in Camden Town received The Leadings. They offered a sublime concert. The venue was charming, small and cozy and The Leadings did all the rest. I took a lot of snaps but with my film fisheye, so we'll need to wait for the developing...I'm not sure if I'll be able to! Meanwhile, I leave one of my favourite videos (I know guys, STOP is the one, but I have a soft spot for this one). I hope you enjoy it!

Anoche fue una de esas noches en las que sabes que lo vas a pasar bien pero no tanto! FlyBar en Camden Town acogio a The Leadings. Ofrecieron un concierto sublime. La sala tenia encanto, era pequeñita y acogedora y The Leadings hizo el resto. Hice un monton de fotos con mi camara analogica eyefish, asi que tendremos que esperar al revelado...no estoy segura si podre! Craftswoman of these campaings (among others), Maire-Amelie Sauve is a big name in the fashion industry nowadays. Right hand of Gesquiere, she works for infinity of publications and brands as a Stylist + Consultant + Creative director (only!?).

Artifice de todas estas campanas (entre otras), Marie-Amelie Sauve es un gran nombre en la industria de la moda actualmente. Mano derecha de Gesquiere, trabaja para infinidad de publicaciones y marcas como estilista + asesora + directora creativa (solo!?)

Sauve describes her own aesthetic as "abstract sexy". She usually uses one item, normally an accessory, in each frame to tie together an editorial narrative. For Sauvé, the specificity of a single item "adds a twist to the story and gives a strong, concise message."

Here you go some images from different editorials. I hope you enjoy them! and if you pay attention you'll find a repetitive aesthetic in all of them, signature of her creations.

Everytime I find one of her pieces on the internet I have the same thoughts: she is a craftsmanship master! I hope I can borrow some of her pieces for my stories!

I love this movie. I like a lot of things about it. Decade, soundtrack (The Stooges, Simon and Garfunkel or Elton John among others), photography, locations, ...but I love, love, LOVE Peny Lane's characteristic green coat (that she used to wear in the middle of the summer) and her toolbox-handbag.

Me encanta esta peli. Hay muchas cosas de ella que me gustan. La decada, la musica (The Stooges, Simon and Garfunkel o Elton John entre otros), la fotografia, las localizaciones...pero me ENCANTA el caracteristico abrigo verde de Peny Lane (que usaba en verano) y su bolso-caja de herramientas.

Yes, and so amazed was I when, reading through the magazine, I found this SOS Festival advert.

VICE is an independent free publication quite well known around the art/music/film/fashion industry and it looks like SOS promoters' are doing a very good job beyond the Spanish borders.

I hope this brings a lot of foreign people to Murcia and makes them know and explore a great city with extraordinary lifestyle, culture and people.

Si, y asi de impresionada me quede yo cuando, leyendo la revista, encontre este anuncio del SOS Festival. VICE es una publicacion independiente gratuita con bastante buen nombre en el mundo del arte/musica/cine/moda y parece que los promotores del SOS estan haciendo un gran trabajo fuera de las fronteras españolas.

Espero que esto traiga a muchisima gente extranjera a Murcia y les haga conocer y explorar una ciudad con un extraordinario estilo de vida, cultura y gente.

It looks like it's never going to happen. While working, visiting show rooms and press offices I'm waiting for Spring to make its magic appearance...Tired of the cold temperatures, gray days, rain and darkness.I need flowers, bright colors, jolly stuff around...and all this singular pieces are lifting my mood quite a lot!
